  • Guren the Crimson Lotus – Oni Priest of the Black Harbinger brought a large force of cult fanatics, mercenaries, and undead into the Shattered Keep. He seeks the monolith below but doesn’t know how to find it or where it is.
  • Guren the Crimson Lotus – Oni Priest of the Black Harbinger hired a mercenary company known as the Iron Drakes led by a Dwarf Blackguard named Fenris Fireforged – Mercenary Leader of the Iron Drakes.
  • The Iron Drakes consist of twelve veterans, twenty bandits, and two mages.
  • Guren the Crimson Lotus – Oni Priest of the Black Harbinger brought twelve cult fanatics and twenty cultists and has summoned about forty skeletons, fifteen zombies, and six skeletal giants.
  • Goblin worshippers of the Eater of Worlds operate in caves beneath the Shadowed Keep.
  • Guren set up camp at an old set of standing stones near by – once a druid’s grove but now corrupted – called Blightwillow – Throne of Gurin . He resides in the hollow of a massive dead tree at the center of the standing stones.
  • Firean Firebrand – Bandit Queen of the Firebrands has people who are hurt and can’t be moved. There’s too many bands of cultists and zombies out there hunting for them.
  • Guren the Crimson Lotus – Oni Priest of the Black Harbinger has sent out teams of cult fanatics and mercenaries to secure and hunt through the ruins of the Shadowed Keep while he consorts with beings from the Other Side.
  • Two hundred years ago the famed adventurer Valentin Ironwolf sought a place to make his home. Retirement was not in Valentin’s heart, but the wanderlust of his youth had long since died; he now sought a corner of the world to call his own. Along with his wife, Kaarina, his young son, Einar, and his faithful retainers he claimed the site upon which now stands the Shadowed Keep.
  • He found a network of tunnels down below, and supposedly a sunken temple of sorts.
  • The work was never finished and his family fell to bandits and brigands.
  • The keep is sometimes known as Ironwolf Keep after Valentin Ironwolf. Sometimes it’s known as Valentin’s folly. It is often known as the Shadowed Keep on the Borderlands!!!
